Release Notes 3.100

Lentune | Latest Release Notes (3.100)

Release 3.100 brings subcontract retention releases into the claim process with their own payment schedule and an editable email window when you send head contract invoices. In Other News you’ll find a round of improvements across subcontract claims, invoice processing, timesheets and more.

Subcontract Retention Releases Now Work Like a Claim

Releasing retention on a subcontract now follows the same process as a claim, so you can issue your subcontractors a payment schedule for every retention release.

  • The subcontract claim now has a Retention tab where you enter the amount of retention being released.
  • Enter a Claimed release amount and a Certified release amount, along with a reason for any variance, so the reason can show on the payment schedule.
  • Generate a payment schedule for the retention release, just as you do for head contract claims.
  • The same options as a standard claim still apply: wait for the subcontractor to send their retention invoice, convert the claim to an invoice, or generate a BCTI.
  • The Retention invoice tick box has been removed from the invoice check screen.

Review and Edit Head Contract Invoice Emails Before Sending

Clicking Send to Customer on a head contract invoice now opens an editable email window instead of sending the invoice straight away.

  • On the Invoices tab, Send to Customer opens a New email window.
  • Check and adjust the recipient, subject and message before the invoice goes out.
  • It works the same way as the email window you already use for head contract and subcontract claims.
  • Previously the invoice was sent immediately using the branch’s default message and the receivable account’s email address.

In Other News

Subcontract Claims

  • Excel and Word files attached to a subcontract claim now preview when you open the claim instead of downloading.
  • You can now put a claim on hold from the Edit Subcontract Claim window.
  • The second approver box is now hidden when dual approval is turned off.

Head Contract Claims

  • The claim document sent to Xero now reflects the current approved claim. If a claim is edited while Prepared, the document is regenerated when the claim is approved.

Invoice Processing

  • The PO selector is back on the Update Authorised / Processed Invoice screen
  • Supplier statements are once again recognised and sent to the Statement queue instead of Check & Approve.

Timesheets

  • The timesheet dashboard Excel export now includes minutes in total time, so totals are no longer rounded down to the hour.
  • More > Export and More > Export payroll report now work from the Time Sheets section of a project’s Spent tab.

Projects

  • The Cost Code tab now gives clearer feedback while costs are refreshing and confirms when they’re done.

Expenses

  • There’s a new expense import template for the Westpac One Business credit card export.

Thanks for continuing to share feedback — it plays a big role in shaping the improvements we prioritise in every release. Happy automating!
