Release Notes 3.88

Lentune | Latest Release Notes (3.88)

The latest release is here!

Release 3.88 introduces a more flexible retention policy option for contracts, along with improvements to subcontract variations and claim validation.

Retention Policy — Percentage of Contract Value Cap

You can now set a retention policy where retention is calculated as a percentage of each claim, capped at a percentage of the contract value, for example, 10% of each claim up to 5% of the contract value.

The retention policy screen now includes a Retention cap type option when a retention cap is enabled. You can choose between a Fixed amount cap (existing behaviour, unchanged) or a Percentage of contract value cap (new). When the percentage option is selected, you can also choose which contract value to base the cap on — either the Current contract value or the Contract value including approved variations — with each option clearly explained as a tooltip. The system will then automatically calculate and hold the correct amount of retention across all future and draft claims, adjusting as the contract value changes with approved variations.

Retentions

This applies to both head contracts and subcontracts.

In Other News

Claims: Draft payment claims can no longer be saved with a completed amount exceeding 100% of the contract value.

Subcontract Variations: The VO# field is no longer mandatory, the subcontractor reference is auto-generated, and the cost code auto-populates from the subcontract header.

Timesheets: Manually submitted leave entries created on behalf of a user now correctly display as Submitted rather than Draft.

Thanks for continuing to share feedback — it plays a big role in shaping the improvements we prioritise in every release.

Happy automating!
