Release Notes 3.90

Lentune | Latest Release Notes (3.90)

The latest release is here!

Version 3.90 brings some significant improvements to the way you work with subcontract claims, cost-plus contracts, and revenue forecasting. There’s also a refreshed head contract payment schedule PDF, plus a range of usability improvements across the check and approve screens, subcontract change orders, and more.

Subcontract Claims: A Certification Screen That Gets It

Certifying subcontractor claims each month just got a lot easier. We've rebuilt the subcontract claim approval screen from the ground up to match how QSs actually work, using "claimed to date" values instead of forcing you to whip out a calculator for the current claim amount.

Here's what you'll love:

  • Every figure you need, right where you need it contract value, claimed to date, % claimed to date, certified to date, % certified to date, current claim amount, and current certified amount, all visible at a glance
  • A workspace that flexes with you a collapsible left-hand panel and resizable PDF/data sections let you make the most of your screen
  • One layout, every job size works just as well on a tiny subcontract as it does on a beast with 50+ lines and variations

No more endless scrolling. No more manual maths. Just a clean workflow that matches how the industry actually works.

N.B. This screen can be found from Subcontract Claims tab under the individual claim's lines view (not the check/approve queue)

Cost Plus Contracts: Indicative Contract Value

Cost-plus customers, this one's for you. You can now record an indicative contract value on cost-plus contracts, giving your clients the transparency they expect from an open-book model. The value appears on the payment schedule PDF alongside actual costs, so clients can see exactly how the project is tracking against the agreed estimate.

The essentials:

  • New field, right where you'd expect it available on the cost-plus contract lines and variations screen
  • Display and reporting only the indicative value won't affect claim calculations, so there's no risk to your numbers
  • Completed % now works on cost-plus — with an indicative value in place, the system can now calculate a meaningful completed percentage for cost-plus jobs, so progress shows up alongside lump-sum contracts in your reports and dashboards
  • Reporting-ready once set, it flows straight through to your reports, making it easy to track and communicate margins each month

This has been one of the most-requested improvements from our cost-plus customers, and we're thrilled to finally tick it off the list.

Invoice Automation: A Tidier Check & Approve Screen

The invoice check and approve screen has had a layout refresh, straight from your feedback. Here's what's new:

  • Save and Manage buttons now sit above the centre panel, where they're easier to reach
  • The invoice PDF panel stretches up to the top of the page, giving you more room to read
  • Quick Access and Manage options have been merged into a single dropdown, less clutter, same power
  • The PO status indicator has been repositioned to fit the new layout

Small changes, but ones you'll feel every day.

In Other News

A few smaller wins worth shouting about:

  • 📊 Revenue forecasts that actually add up Claims now land in the right reporting period (no more April-claim-in-March confusion), and Prepared claims are finally included in the balance to finish. Say goodbye to manual reconciliation.
  • ✏️ Subcontract change orders, now fully editable Open a change order line from within a subcontract and everything's editable, right there. No more hopping around just to tweak a field. We've also freshened up the terminology while we were at it.
  • 📧 Claims emails go to the right inbox When an APA override email is configured, Claims now uses it instead of the logged-in user's address. Client replies finally land where they're supposed to.
  • 🔓 Second approvers get the full picture The retention details modal is now accessible when approving a retention release claim. No more greyed-out icons forcing you to navigate away just to check the numbers.

Thanks for continuing to share feedback, it plays a big role in shaping the improvements we prioritise in every release. Happy automating!
