Lentune | Latest Release Notes (3.96)
This release brings a smarter, more predictable AI Document Intelligence experience, along with some genuinely useful additions for anyone managing supplier payments and cost-plus projects. AI-read invoices now follow your supplier settings more closely, there are more supplier payment term options to choose from, and you can claim beyond the indicative contract value on cost-plus work without wrestling with variations. We’ve also made your total cost at completion recalculate as you update costs, plus a round of fixes and refinements in the "In Other News" section below.
Invoice Automation & AI Document Intelligence
We’ve made AI Document Intelligence more reliable and predictable when it reads and populates your incoming invoices.
- AI Document Intelligence now respects each supplier’s auto-populate setting, and no longer fills in invoice lines before a supplier is linked, so you only get the lines your configuration expects and the checker-to-approver workflow stays clean.
- Resolved an error that could appear when checking in certain invoices with AI Document Intelligence enabled, so those invoices now check in smoothly.
More Supplier Payment Term Options
We’ve expanded the list of payment terms you can choose from, so more of your suppliers’ arrangements can be matched from the standard options.
- The predefined list of supplier payment terms now includes additional options.
- Accounts Administrators can pick the closest matching terms when setting up or editing a supplier.
- Payment terms are still selected from the standard list. There are simply more to choose from now, helping invoice payment dates line up more accurately.
Claim Beyond the Indicative Contract Value on Cost-Plus Work
On cost-plus contracts the contract value is only an indicative budget, and work often runs over. You can now claim above that indicative value on cost-plus lines and variations without being blocked.
- The block that previously stopped a claim once the completed amount exceeded the contract value has been lifted for cost-plus lines and variations.
- No more working around the limit by misusing variations just to push a claim through.
- Fixed-price contracts are unaffected. The existing validation stays exactly as it is, so those claims are still protected.
Total Cost at Completion Now Recalculates as You Work
Your Total cost at completion now recalculates on the spot. When you change the Current cost on a cost code, the total updates immediately rather than waiting for the next sync to reflect it.
- Update Current cost and see Total cost at completion refresh straight away.
- Your Cost to complete is still refreshed from the external sync as before. That hasn’t changed; what’s new is that the total recalculates live from your current cost, so it’s no longer waiting on that sync to catch up.
- Works across the cost code cost grid so your project cost view stays accurate as you go.
In Other News
Cost Plus Claims
- Subcontract claims associated with a head contract are now correctly included in the generated cost-plus supporting documents.
- Claimable amounts now populate correctly in the claimable amount column for associated invoices and claims.
Project Cost Tracking
- The Acuite sync now updates cost-to-complete values even when they’ve been cleared to blank, keeping your figures in step with Acuite.
Thanks for continuing to share feedback. It plays a big role in shaping the improvements we prioritise in every release. Happy automating!
