Release Notes 3.97
Lentune | Latest Release Notes (3.97)
This release gives you more control when emailing purchase orders, speeds up timesheet approvals with bulk editing, and lets you set a payment due date when invoicing straight from a project. We’ve also taken the opportunity to round up a few customer-facing improvements from recent releases that hadn’t yet made it into the notes, plus the usual collection of fixes across Timesheets, Subcontracts, Invoice Automation, Projects and Deposits in the "In Other News" section below.
Email Purchase Orders with an Editable Subject and Body
Sending a purchase order by email now gives you full control over the message, so you can tailor it before it goes out and find it easily later.
- The Email Purchase Order modal now shows the email body text, and you can edit it before sending.
- You can now edit the Subject line as well, making it easy to search your inbox by supplier or reference.
- Your wording applies to that email, so each PO can go out exactly the way you want it.
Bulk-Edit Project and Cost Code in Timesheet Approvals
Approving timesheets is much faster when you can fix coding in one go. You can now select multiple timesheet entries and update their project and cost code together.
- In Timesheet Approvals, select multiple entries at once.
- Reassign the project and cost code across all selected entries in a single bulk edit, chosen from the usual lookup.
- No more opening entries one by one to correct where time has been coded.
Payment Due Date on Project Invoices
Invoices raised from a project’s Receivable Invoices tab can now carry a payment due date, just like invoices raised from a head contract claim — so your customers always see when payment is due.
- A Payment Due Date field is now available when generating an invoice from a project.
- The due date prints on the invoice, rather than being left blank.
- This brings project invoicing into line with the head contract claim experience.
In Other News
Timesheets
- Fixed an issue where the Approve and Reject buttons could stay stuck loading after running Calculate Allowances, so timesheets can be actioned without a browser refresh.
- The Client Timesheet Report now keeps full decimal precision instead of rounding hours to one decimal place, so totals are accurate.
Subcontracts
- You can now enter a different certified amount against a negative claimed amount in the payable claim table, instead of the value clearing back to zero.
- The spent cost hyperlink for subcontractors now shows claim line totals rather than the overall claim total, so the detail lines up with what you’re viewing.
Invoice Automation
- Added a search filter so you can quickly find invoices that have been AutoChecked.
- Invoice line quantities with more than one digit now carry through to the Check screen correctly, instead of defaulting to one.
- Resolved an issue where some non-Simpro invoices were marked as successful, which could cause payments to be missed.
Projects
- The Variance column on the Project Cost Code page now exports correctly, so the variance total in your downloaded file matches what you see on screen.
Cheers and happy automating!
