Release Notes 3.98

Lentune | Latest Release Notes (3.98)

This release brings a smarter way to check and approve subcontract claims, a staged rollout option for Auto Check so you can trust it supplier by supplier, a rebuilt timesheet import experience, tighter SimPro receipt matching, and a new safety net that keeps you logged in even if single sign-on has an outage. There’s also a fresh batch of fixes and refinements across claims, invoices, variations, reporting and integrations — the full list is in "In Other News" below.

A dedicated workspace for checking and approving subcontract claims

Checking and approving subcontract claims is now a single, streamlined screen rather than a page you scroll through claim by claim. The new layout brings the same modern claim view you’ll recognise from the subcontract claims modal straight into your check, authorise and second-authorise workflows.

  • The check, authorise and second-authorise screens now open as a table of all the claims waiting for you, with Project, Subcontract and Subcontractor columns added so you can see exactly what you’re looking at.
  • Your familiar advanced search filters — Claim reference, Contract, Project, Cost code and My approvals only — are still right at the top of the page.
  • Double-click any claim to open the full claim view on top of your list, opening straight to the Details tab.
  • Use the new Approve & next button to approve the claim in front of you and jump straight to the next one, so you can work through a queue without losing your place.
  • This new experience is not enabled by default, but if you are keen to give it a try, let us know and we can turn it on for you.

Roll out Auto Check supplier by supplier

You can now turn Auto Check on for individual suppliers rather than switching it on for everyone at once. This lets you build confidence gradually — start with the suppliers you trust most, then expand as you go.

  • A new specific suppliers mode lets you choose exactly which suppliers Auto Check applies to.
  • Each supplier now carries its own Autocheck enabled setting, so enabling or disabling Auto Check for a supplier is a simple toggle.
  • Supplier Auto Check settings are included in the payables spreadsheet import and export, so you can review or update them in bulk.
  • Any Auto Check outcomes are surfaced clearly on the check screen so you always know why an invoice did or didn’t auto-check.

Some new Functionality in the SimPro API!

Approving an invoice for goods already receipted in SimPro no longer risks doubling your received quantities. Lentune now finds the existing receipt and lets you match the invoice to it.

  • On approval, Lentune checks the purchase order for an existing un-invoiced SimPro receipt before creating a new one.
  • When a match is found, a new match screen lets you confirm it, review the receipt lines and totals, and complete the invoice against goods already received — no duplicate receipt.
  • Freight can now be captured as an invoice line and posted straight to SimPro’s freight box, so freight-carrying invoices balance to the receipt without adding a separate freight line or rekeying the amount.
  • Controlled by a new Restrict freight line to be added to PO setting on the SimPro integration settings (available when AI document intelligence is enabled).

Invoice Automation & Approvals

  • Selecting a variation on an invoice header no longer automatically assigns that variation to every invoice line.

Claims

  • A negative variation claim on a head contract is no longer blocked by the completed-amount check.
  • The communications grid on an editable receivable claim now shows only that claim’s communications, rather than all communications for the site.

  • Single-project Acuite syncs are now faster.

Timesheets & Leave
